Get ready for an incredible basement organization reveal! In this vlog, we tackle a cluttered basement in a beautiful historic home built in 1912. While the upstairs boasts a modern renovation, the basement remained largely untouched, featuring original elements like painted floors and cabinets likely added in the 50s or 60s.
Our goal? To create a functional and stylish storage solution for our client’s keepsakes, shoes, pantry items, and household necessities like tools and hardware.
The Challenge: Hidden Clutter
The project’s initial scope grew significantly on day one. During the consultation, we couldn’t assess the full size of the crawl space and small storage room because they were overflowing! The thought of removing all the old building materials and firewood through the steep basement stairs seemed overwhelming.
Teaming Up for Success
Thankfully, with my team’s expertise and my husband’s muscle, we overcame this hurdle. He came to our rescue, hauling everything outside, which allowed my team to work their magic on the space.
